Skai Academy music & arts program provides students from K4 - 12th grade who have limited or no access to high quality music and performing arts instruction, long and short term school residencies, after-school programs and summer camp workshops.

Students learn music, theory and ear training skills and begin to develop accuracy of rhythm, phrasing, and articulation through vocal choir, band ensembles, theater and creative movement.

The programs provides several multi-media and live performance opportunities at their local school and community throughout the year.

Our approach gets youth learning and participating in the "making of music and art" as soon as possible. Youth go from a passive participant to an artistic participant the first day. This allows them to take more risk and increases engagement, focus and participation. The results? See for yourself.
